COST workshop on collectivity in small systems
Created by Dr. Jan Cepila
Dates: Sunday, 12. August 2018 - Thursday, 16. August 2018

The focus of the workshop, organised within the COST action Theory of hot matter and relativistic heavy-ion collisions THOR,, is a discussion about the microscopic explanations for the ridge in the framework of the CGC approach to high-energy QCD, the relation of such explanations with other microscopic approaches as multiple parton interactions and colour reconnections used in Monte Carlo simulators, and how a macroscopic description can emerge when the multiplicity in the system increases. The program for the workshop would consist of a few review talks, one per subject, plus contributed talks on more specific aspects.

The workshop will start on Monday Aug 13th and will finish on Aug 15th. Aug. 12 and 15 are arrival/departure dates.
