What to do after the STSM

The grantee is required to prepare a short scientific report within 30 days after the end of the STSM, containing:

  • - purpose of the STSM,

  • - description of the work carried out during the STSM,

  • - description of the main results obtained,

  • - future collaboration with the host institution (if applicable),

  • - foreseen publications/articles resulting from the STSM (if applicable),

  • - confirmation of the host institution of the successful execution of the STSM,

  • - other comments (if any).

The report must be submitted to

  • - the THOR Action Chair (Marcus Bleicher)

  • - the STSM Coordinator (Gergely Gabor Barnaföldy)

  • - the senior researcher at the host institution

Failure to submit the report within 30 days will effectively cancel the grant.

The senior researcher at the host institution must send his approval of the report to the THOR Action Chair (Marcus Bleicher).

This completes the duty of the grantee / the host.

What will happen next:

The STSM Coordinator will inform of the budget to the THOR Action Chair, who is responsible for final approving of the scientific report and informing the Grant Holder that the STSM has been successfully accomplished. After the receipt of the approval by email, the Grant Holder will execute the payment of the grant.

Applicant name, project title, home and host institutions, period, topic and the report will be published on the THOR's webpage: https://thor-cost.eu.
